The Board of Directors has several open positions that need to be filled. Please consider whether you would be willing to assist in the business of the community to benefit all owners. As a Board member, you will be an integral part of what happens in your community. The commitment consists of a few hours of your time communicating with other Board members and ARMI monthly through email and attendance at Board meetings held once a month. Should the unfortunate situation arise where there are no members willing to serve on the Board of Directors, the Association would face the possibility of going into Receivership. In this instance, the Court would appoint a Receiver who would take over the running of the Association and would set the assessment rate for the community without input from the members. This can leave the property owners powerless in the decision making process and should be avoided, if at all possible.
